Prerequisites

How to Install Galaxy Tab S3 Android Oreo Update?

  1. Download the Oreo firmware file for the tablet.
  2. Next, extract the downloaded ZIP on the PC.
  3. Power off the Galaxy Tab S3 completely.
  4. Hold the Volume Down, Home, and Power button simultaneously to boot into Download Mode.
  5. On the warning screen, press the Volume Up key.
  6. Connect the Tab S3 to the PC using the USB cable.
  7. Open the folder where Odin tool is present and double-click on the ‘Odin3 v3.13.1.exe’ file.
  8. The ‘ID:COM’ port on the Odin tool window should light up.
  9. Click on the ‘BL’ button and select the firmware file starting with ‘BL_’.
  10. Repeat the same and select the firmware files for ‘AP’, ‘CP’, and ‘CSC’.
    • Note: Choose the ‘HOME_CSC’ file to preserve the data on your tablet.
  11. Once everything is selected, hit the ‘Start’ button to install Galaxy Tab S3 Android Oreo update.

The flashing process will take a few minutes to complete, so leave the device undisturbed.
